1. Log in to your account at dotster.com

2. From the “home” tab, go to the “Manage My Domain” section by clicking on “Go Now”

3. Select the domain name to transfer by clicking on its link. You will then see your domain name's information

4.In the “Services for this Domain” on the bottom of the page, you will see “Other services”. From there, you will see

Domain Locking Transfer Lock; Active: YES

Click on “Manage” that follows this line.

5. you will now see the “Domain Lockdown page”. From here, you will see:

Status: LOCKED 

Click on “Unlock”

6. You will then see a confirmation message page. Click on the link that says “Back To Detail Information”

7. You are now back at your domain's information page.

8. At the very bottom of the page, you will see “Request Transfer Authorization code” clik on this

You will then see a confirmation message saying that your auth code has been sent to you by mail to the owner's e-mail address.

9. In your mails, look for a mail from auto@dotster.com with a subject line like “Authorization Code Request For YOURDOMAIN.COM”

The contents will appear as such:

Your new authorization code is

   a6XWdoeVgjC1

for the domain

   EXAMPLE.COM
