The billing contact receives renewal reminders and has access to all invoices on the domain name, but does not have the ability to make modifications to the domain.

Note that the invoice is made out with the information linked to whichever contact makes the payment.

Invoices cannot be modified after they have been paid, so take note of which contact/handle you use to pay for an operation!
