How does SiteMaker support accessibility?

SiteMaker allows you to change nearly everything on your site, which means that you can build it to be accessible. For example, you can:

  1. Change your background colour and text colour so that they provide more contrast making it less difficult to read the text.
  2. Increase the size of your text so that it is easier to read.
  3. Change the layout of your page so that the text flows in a logical order.
  4. Give *alt tags* to all your images, so screen readers can correctly provide descriptions of everything on your page.

Additionally, SiteMaker ensures that all the text on your site including image *alt tags* can be read by the most common screen readers.

Screen readers must support Flash.
