__**NB:**__

Some of the operations in this screencast need your server's **root** mode activated. If you really do need to create an eggdrop on your IRC server, make sure that you won't need the AI interface anymore in order to manage your server, since activating **root** mode will make you lose access to this interface, which is irreversible.

You could also create a specific server for all of the root-related operation you might need, or be interested in experimenting with.
